To the creators of this site, the policies of France, Russia and Germany seem refreshingly rational in comparison to the Anglo-American rhetoric that has been spouted in recent months. The governments of France, Germany & Russia are not the "Axis of Weasels", as they have been dubbed by the New York Post libellous website mentioned earlier. They are doing what is best for Iraq and the rest of the world, rather than what is best for America. Perhaps France do owe the US an enormous debt of gratitude for salvaging what was left of their country after World War I, but this does not mean they should blindly follow their "allies" into war, à la Blair. As far as we can tell, it is this tripartite alliance of France, Russia and Germany that is following the wishes of the majority of the world's people, and the alliance of their opponents, including the so-called "Land of the Free", that is not. It is surely hugely significant that three countries with such unprecedented experience of the horrors of war should refuse to sanction automatic military action. Whether or not the majority support this trinity, the bitter attacks on their nationhood and culture that they have received for refusing are completely uncalled-for. The worst of these are documented here.
